Wintec University - Hamilton
As part of our ongoing strategy to address concerns in mental health and addictions services, we have proudly collaborated with Wintec to provide an opportunity for New Zealand's up and coming Registered Nurses to work with us and our client's.
We provide placements for 3rd Year Nursing Students to experience what it really is to support New Zealander's living in the community whilst experiencing mental health distress and or substance use concerns.
Our goal is to help shape the future of the Mental Health Services in New Zealand. Our vision for future nurses includes them challenging the perceptions and stigma that surround mental health, be an advocate, and approach health from an open, honest and judgement free standpoint.

Equally Well Equally Well is a movement, made up of people and organisations taking action to address the unmet physical health needs of people with lived experience of mental health and addiction issues.
Ngā Waka o Matariki is the Equally Well Māori Health Strategy. It is the life force, energy and air for the collaborative: inspiring champions to action which ensures and promotes Māori and whānau health equity inclusive of health equity of everyone living with mental health and addiction issues.
